Just Got an Ipod, Now What?
So, you just got this gorgeous, brand new, shiny object called: Ipod. Maybe it was given to you as a gift over the holidays, birthday, or maybe someone just really loves you and decided to give it to you. You got the box open, and now, lying in your lap, you have an Ipod. Now you are probably asking yourself, “Where do I begin?” and I’m going to tell you.
My first suggestion is that you get up, walk to your computer, or bring your computer to you (depending on if you have a laptop or desktop), pull the Ipod cord out from the box, plug one end into the laptop and the other into the Ipod. You should allow it to charge then for at least three hours.
Next, open Itunes up, if you do not have an account already, you should probably make one. Ipods will only work with Itunes. Now you are ready to start adding music, videos, podcasts, games, etc. You might want to add some software to it also, but that is your choice.
Finally, press eject on Itunes, disconnect the cord, and start using your Ipod. It’s that easy. Enjoy!
